Every photo I take is special to me in some way. They all represent the beauty and wonder of nature in the moment when I press the shutter. However, there are certain images that to me represent something truly magical: those breathtaking experiences when it all comes together. When light, conditions, story, composition, and technique all collide to create a wonderfully unique encounter with Mother Nature. I’ve been fortunate to experience a number of these rare moments throughout my career as a photographer.
